Criminal often run away not to get arrested and if I am a criminal, I also want to run away, too. My father's hometown is rural area and my father experienced something similar. So I know sorrow of abolition their alma mater. Many rural school are abolished now because of lack of students. I think it is very regrettable phenomenon, but it is just one of those thing. People want to go city and if school opened for just 5 or 10 students, it can be burden to manage school. So, we accept this phenomenon with sorrow.
